Some riders just feel better with hard shell pads. If you are one of those riders but are worried about excess weight, the 7iDP Control Elbow Guards are an excellent option.
The pad's hard shell Curv Cap material is one of the lightest yet toughest on the protective market and offers an abrasion barrier between the rider and any terrain a rider may encounter. The hard shell is surrounded by multi-density foam to help impact absorption.
7iDP studied and researched the best area for strap placement. They identified the upper forearm area as the key area to locate a supporting strap to prevent the elbow pad from slipping. A cross support centre strap also helps to offer great fit and mobility.
Often times a heavy or bulky hard shell protection pad can skimp on ventilation. The 7iDP Control Elbow Guard features air circulation ports to allow air flow in and out of the interior of the protection piece. The back of the pad features four-way stretch fabric with perforation for added airflow.
Seven passionate individuals decided they believed in the same thing, Intelligently Designed Protection. Since then, 7iDP has pushed out some of the most innovative, effective and stylish protective gear on the market. Their armor and protection pads all feature a common component, smart and stylish design with an added level of protection that could only be made by actual riders. 7iDP offers mountain bikers and BMX riders a new choice for protection, and they are taking notice.
