Balance is defined as the comparison of one essential element with another. With the Giro Balance goggle, you will receive the best balance of both a traditional full frame style and the innovative goggle technology we have come to expect from Giro.
Designed with Expansion View Technology (EXV), the Balance goggle offers a full unobstructed field of vision, so you won't have to worry about anything getting in your way no matter the conditions. With Spherical Lenses by Zeiss, that view will be optically perfect. The crystal clear optics provided by Zeiss help reduce both distortion and glare while enhancing peripheral vision, making them a clear step above cylindrical lenses. The anti-fog coating is just another additional benefit from Giro.
When we put on the Giro Balance goggle the triple-layer face foam with micro fleece facing feels great. We think you'll enjoy outstanding comfort balanced with exceptional goggle technology. Let's not forget, the Balance frame also offers Seamless Compatibility with all Giro's helmets.
Giro, based in Scotts Valley, CA, is a worldwide leader in the design, development and marketing of premium, high-performance protective gear and accessories for action sports and active lifestyles. Since 1985, Giro has been at the vanguard of helmet design and innovation, and Giro helmets have become synonymous with protection, style, and performance. Helmet technology has improved steadily since the mid-1980s.
Ski racing helmets and bicycling helmets used to be clunky things that were heavy and poor fitting because helmet construction technology lagged significantly behind the science of head protection. Thus the cyclist or skier who wanted head protection was limited to heavy motorcycle-like helmets with little or no vents. Then in 1984 came a new protective standard, ASTM F2040, and an ingenious designer by the name of Jim Gentes who had the vision to create lightweight, well-vented yet highly protective headgear that could achieve this new ASTM F2040 standard.
Gentes founded Giro Sport Design in 1985 and brought the first Giro helmet to market in 1986, an oversized, expanded polystyrene (EPS) bicycle helmet that came with interchangeable bright-colored Lycra cloth helmet covers. Because it had no hard shell, this new Giro cycling helmet was incredibly lightweight. It was also extremely well vented. And with the interchangeable covers, Giro brought style into the mix. One day you could ride wearing a red Giro helmet, the next day you could wear a blue Giro helmet. Over the next two decades, Giro continued to advance its bicycle helmet designs. Giro was able to apply much of its experience in constructing bicycle helmets to manufacturing ski helmets and snowboard helmets. With more units sold than any other manufacturer, Giro helmets are quite simply the leader in protective gear for your head.
We offer many different models of Giro Bicycle Helmets and Giro Ski Helmets, with each having a different size range depending upon fit system, shell shape, etc. To chose the right size Giro helmet for you or your kid, follow the steps below.
