Giro’s Roc Loc 5 Fit System provides weight savings without compromising comfort, stability or adjustability. The RocLoc 5 fit system allows you to easily customize the fit tension and fore-aft tile of you helmet in seconds using two fingers. The Micro Dial turns both ways to loosen or tighten the tension, and each click is audible. The strap basket on the Roc Loc 5 Fit System keeps the straps firmly in place. Plus, the Roc Loc 5 is nearly 40% lighter than comparable systems. For more information, read our Learning Center article, Giro Fit Systems Explained.
Giro designs their ladies series helmets to appeal visually to women skier and snowboarders. Sophisticated colors and subtle graphics distinguish a Giro woman's ski/snowboard helmet from a Giro man's ski/snowboard helmet. There is no size large (59-63 cm) in the Giro women's series bike ski/snowboard lineup. Any difference in head size or shape can be adjusted for a precise fit as long as the correct helmet size has been ordered.
All Giro ski helmets model years 2009 and later feature ear pads that are compatible with Giro's TuneUps Audio Drops, to allow you to listen to music and/or use your phone on the lift or slopes. Available with the standard system for audio only.
Since 1985, Giro has been at the vanguard of helmet design and protection. No other company offers more models of ski and snowboard helmets or features within these snowboard and ski helmets.
