Knowledge Goggles Deliver for OTG Wearers

For those who wear OTG (Over The Glasses) goggles, comfort and ease are critical. Smith Optics has introduced the Floating Foam Membrane, which eliminates eyeglass temple pressure and offers maximum comfort to glasses wearers. Fog-free vision is also a concern for skiers and snowboarders who wear glasses. Smith Optics utilization of patented regulator ventilation keeps your vision clear on the slopes and in the chair lift. If you love the Smith Optics Knowledge features, but prefer a rimless frame, check out the Smith Optics Prophecy OTG snow goggles.

You can't talk Smith Optics without talking the highest quality lenses. The Knowledge has a cylindrical carbonic-x lens with TLT. TLT is Smith Optics answer to decreased visual distortion and resulting eye fatigue caused by light refraction. When light passes through any medium, it changes course. This causes visual distortion. To avoid this, Smith Optics progressively tapers the lens from the center outward to straighten the incoming light rays. This tapering (TLT technology) results in nondistorted, more accurate vision. We noticed the visual difference immediately, and we believe you will, too.

The Knowledge is designed with an AirEvac ventilation system that interfaces with your helmet to help circulate air, reducing fogging. Smith completes the Knowledge with a comfortable 2-layer driwix face foam which feels soft as a pillow to the touch.
